Herbal shampoos for all hair types

                         

      Lime shampoo

Amla         100gm 

 Reetha     200gm

Shikakai    200gm 

 glycerin      8 tsp

Char          100gm 

   

water           2 ½  ltr

Charila      100gm            lime juice       4 tsp

Khus          100gm         sodium benzoate      1 ½ tsp

Boil the first five ingredients in water till the mixture becomes half of the quantity, strain it and add rest of the ingredients. Rinse the hair apply the shampoo for 2-3 minutes and wash off with luke warm water.

Methi – shikakai shampoo

Methi – 250gm

Shikakai  1 kg

Orange/lemon  peels- handful

Crush all these ingredients into a powdery form and use this powder shampoo as you do others. But remember to soak this powder in a ½ cup of water 2 hours before using it to your hair.

                Neem shampoo

Gram flour                             1kg

Sandal wood powder            250gm

Neem leaves                          4-5 cups

Shikakai powder                   1 kg

Mix these thoroughly by sieving. Keep it in an airtight bottle. When needed for washing soak 2tblsp of it in a cup of water then apply quantity can be increased or lessen as required. Good for all types of hair
